Can you tell us a bit about your organization?
Benjamin’s Desk is Philadelphia’s Premier Shared Office and Coworking Space for Professionals. Located in the heart of Center City in the Allman Building at 1701 Walnut Street, 7th Floor, Benjamin’s Desk is the place to work for mobile professionals, entrepreneurs and start-ups. We offer private offices, part and full-time desk memberships, permanent/dedicated desk memberships, virtual offices and a conference room. Join the workplace of the new economy.
What benefits does your organization offer a young professional?
All of our members are entrepreneurs, founders of startups or small businesses that have found a home in Philadelphia. Benjamin’s Desk provides all of the amenities and services of a business center with the network and community of a coworking space in an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration and innovation. We have developed strategic partnerships with some incredible local, national and international organizations such as ArtsTechPhilly, Wharton eClub, Young Involved Philadelphia, FundingPost and EFactor to offer our members the tools, resources and networks necessary to fuel their businesses.
Do you think it’s important for young professionals to show an interest in art collecting
Absolutely. Young professionals are the future influencers and leaders of our city. If they are given the opportunity to not only appreciate art at this stage in their career, but also discover the impact of the local art scene on the city, there is no doubt that they will be more inclined to influence others to support and collect art in the local community.
