Celebrating InLiquid’s 15th anniversary, Current | Approaching highlights the history of the organization while keeping an eye to the future. Ten artists represent the scope of interest and wide range of skills of artist members and InLiquid’s role as a vital force in the Philadelphia art community. Through a variety of approaches and techniques, a strong sense of design permeates the work. Whether appropriating existing media, drawing on art history, or constructing a narrative, all of the artists fuse elements of culture with a contemporary sensibility to create a personal vocabulary.
