InLiquid is partnering with Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia for their "Meet the Maker" exhibition series.

The InLiquid-curated exhibit, which will be on display for all of March and April, includes two separate bodies of Alleger’s work: A Month of Breakfast, a collection of paintings depicting every breakfast Alleger had in August 2012, and Rock N’ Roll Philadelphia, a pandemic-rooted project documenting lockdown-shuttered independent music venues in Philly, including the iconic Boot & Saddle, Johnny Brenda’s, and Dobbs.  In her paintings and mixed media works, Alleger focuses on imagery representing her love and appreciation for mundane routine and curiosity, and covers topics inclusing everyday foods, furniture, travel, urban life, and music.

Originally from California, Alleger received her Master's of Fine Art from Moore College of Art & Design in 2013 and has been active in Philadelphia since. Alleger’s work has been featured in numerous venues, including exhibitions in Brooklyn, Sacramento, North Charleston, Wilmington, and the Philadelphia International Airport among many others.

This exhibit will be the first of its kind at the Hyatt Centric Philadelphia, produced in partnership with InLiquid.
