The Muralist Training Program (MTP) is a program for artists intending to improve their abilities to lead a community-driven mural project using the Mural Arts polytab method of mural production. This 8-week learning experience will be led by a diverse range of Mural Arts professionals on topics that includes community engagement, management tools, and mural production, within the context of Mural Arts’ 40 year history in Philadelphia.We seek to build a cohort of approximately 12-15 artists from a diverse range of backgrounds to be part of the 2024 class. This program is ideal for both artists interested in developing their mural-making skills as well as artists who want to amplify their community-engagement strategies.
