In October 2023, Mural Arts Institute (Philadelphia) will host a symposium, "Created, Together." to celebrate its three-year Public Art and Civic Engagement (PACE) Capacity-Building Initiative. At this symposium, artists, art administrators, and community organizers from across the United States will meet to network, connect, and plan for the future of socially-engaged, community-focused public art. Mural Arts will sponsor the attendance (including lodging and reimbursed travel) for a selection of artists and/or community organizers from across the nation.
