The International Sculpture Center is seeking qualified volunteers for the 30th International Sculpture Conference in Jersey City, NJ from October 10-15, 2023.

The International Sculpture Center is excited to share this unique visual arts experience, gathering together the international contemporary art community in Jersey City, NJ. Join us for an engaging weekend of conversations, panels, workshops, exhibitions, and more, covering the latest technologies, radical practices, environmental art, activism, and beyond.

We are pleased to announce that we are joining forces with The Office of Culture Affairs, Jersey City Art and Studios Tour (JCAST), and Art Fair 14C, to create a super-sized visual arts experience that will showcase Jersey City’s arts and culture scene. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of sculpture, learn from the best, and connect with fellow artists and art lovers who share your passion.

Volunteering for an ISC Conference allows participants to attend the full conference at a reduced rate of $175 in exchange for 10-12 hours of work. Volunteers will gain valuable experience in running a multi-day arts event, and have exposure to stimulating artist presentations and activities while benefitting from networking opportunities with art professionals.

Main responsibilities can include:

* Attendance at morning meetings and mandatory orientation session

* Availability from October 10-15, 2023

* Tote bag assembly

* On-site registration

* Optional Tours accompaniment

* Panel discussion assistance

* Monitoring ARTSlams and discussions

* Special events assistance

* Food set-up, distribution, clean-up
