Aimee Petkus creates jewelry inspired by her background in geology, crystallography, and a childhood surrounded by Colorado’s mountains. The daughter of an art teacher and sculptor, she grew up with a love for both science and creativity. After earning a BS in Natural Resources and working as an environmental geology consultant, she left the field to pursue a more fulfilling path. Travels and adventures reignited her passion for crystals and design, leading her to earn a BFA in metalsmithing and jewelry from SCAD. From her Philadelphia studio, she handcrafts pieces that fuse science and art.
