I am a Yemeni-American artist and curator. I was honored as Yemen’s art ambassador during a UNESCO-affiliated event in Dubai in 2025.
My work explores the psychological and emotional lives of women. I blend realism, abstraction, and at times surrealism to express what remains unspoken—inner tension, memory, and identity. Horses, figures, Arabic calligraphy, and decorative motifs drawn from Islamic aesthetics appear frequently. Some pieces carry quiet narratives; others unfold as open-ended visual reflections.
I founded Qamaria for Arts to use art as a bridge between cultures and as a voice for artists, especially those affected by war. It functions as a curatorial platform for storytelling, healing, and cultural exchange. I have curated several exhibitions in New York, as well as in Canada and Saudi Arabia.
My artwork has been featured in four solo exhibitions, and in group shows and biennales across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

She has curated exhibitions in New York, Canada, and Saudi Arabia, including Symphony of Cultures at St. Bart’s Church in Manhattan (2023 and 2024), attended by members of the UN General Assembly. Her curatorial project Do You See Me?, focusing on war-affected children, was exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum and opened by New York City Mayor Eric Adams and other dignitaries.
