Tabas has shown her work throughout the Philadelphia area. She has enjoyed great success including a one person show at the Sketch Club of Philadelphia and a two-person show at the OCJCC Gallery on 3rd Street in Philadelphia. Nancy also had 16 paintings shown at Wynwood Lofts Gallery at the 2011 Art Basel in Miami. She is in many private collections in the United States and Europe. Tabas has studied extensively, including training at PAFA and with world-renowned figurative artist Bert Silverman
Victoria Donohue reviewed Nancy in The Philadelphia Inquirer and stated, “Her work consistently has punch to it.” Marie Fowler of the Main Line Times also gave Nancy a favorable review stating “Tabas, like French Impressionist Master Claude Monet appears to explore the same motif under different conditions of light and or seasons.”
Tabas is an active member of ARTsisters, The Mill Artist, The Philadelphia Sketch Club ,Artist Equity and the Professional Artist Group of Main Line Art Center. She serves on the Board of Main_Line Line Art Center and is Chair of the Women’s Board of the Penn Museum. Nancy also serves on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology.
Nancy loves to travel and has been all over the world this is a tremendous influence on her work. She lives in Haverford Pennsylvania with her husband of 37 years and is the mother of 4 children and grandmother of 4.
