What is mightier: the pen or the sword? NEITHER! It is the word and the art.
This show is all about words and art — be it a narrative piece that tells a story, something that integrates writing and/or books, letters-letters-letters galore! Use your imagination! This body of work features pieces that in someway link to the written word.
This show will have a fall preview on August 19th-20th during the Collingswood Art Festival, and then will officially open on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 and run through Sunday, October 29th, 2023.
The Opening Party will take place on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 from 3pm - 6pm ET.
Submissions for this show are due by 11:59 PM on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023.
IMPORTANT DATES: + Notification will be given by Saturday, June 24th, 2023. + All accepted applicants are expected to arrange delivery or shipment of artwork to Powell Lane Arts between Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 and Sunday, August 13th, 2023. + All accepted applicants will also be expected to arrange pick-up or return of artwork from Powell Lane Arts between Monday, October 30th, 2023 and Sunday, November 5th, 2023.
