Swarthmore Town Center (STC) would like to install a mural on a SEPTA bridge that spans one of the main thoroughfares leading into our town center/business district. The purpose of this mural is to:
- Indicate to drivers that Swarthmore is a destination through a unique piece of art. Swarthmore has a lively town center and we think more gateway signage would raise our visibility.
- Beautify our borough with a work of art. Swarthmore is currently in the process of installing two other murals within the town center.
Swarthmore Town Center, Inc. is a non-profit whose purpose is to promote and plan educational, cultural, or charitable community events within the town center and physically enhance the business district through these events.
