On the occasion of our nation's celebration this summer, we think not about numbers as finite as 250, but about numbers that cannot be so easily quantified-the many millions of stories that are not reflected in history as it is written. Where do you come from? Who are you? What is perhaps the untold story of your heritage? How do you amplify your life's purpose through your art?
What are the stories of others, seemingly muted, that you choose to lift up?
We seek art that serves as a catalyst of inclusive history and shows us that art-making can be a force for rewriting and reclaiming histories that might otherwise be forgotten.
Between now and our Thursday, May 28 entry deadline, we invite you to weigh in on this theme with your outstanding artwork, as follows:
5) media, and 6) a single two-sentence statement about your submission(s).
• If our jury chooses you, be prepared to deliver wired, ready-to-hang artwork to Off the Wall on Saturday, June 20
This show runs 6/21 - 8/14, 2026
