Create! Magazine is pleased to announce our latest call for art, curated by Deep Space Gallery for the Winter 2027 print issue #61. This is an international, juried open call for artists worldwide working in any medium. One artist will be chosen as our next cover artist.
Juried by Deep Space Gallery Every entry goes directly to Deep Space Gallery. Curators Jenna Geiger and Keith VanPelt, whose gallery has exhibited at Spring/Break Art Fair, on Artsy, and at the Venice Biennale, will review your work. They actively champion emerging and mid-career artists from around the world. For this issue, all subjects and media are welcome.

How to apply
Eligibility: open to all artists worldwide working in any medium. Submit original work only. No academic background required.
Submit up to 10 works (cohesive bodies of work and series are encouraged), a 300-word bio, and a 300-word artist statement.Submit through Submittable: https://createmagazine.submittable.com/submit

About the submission fee Create! Magazine is run by a small, dedicated, artist-led team. Your submission fee directly and fairly compensates our guest jurors, professional writers, and designers, and covers the administrative and technical costs of hosting these open calls.
Artist advocacy If published, artists retain full copyright and ownership of their work. Selection is competitive and juried by industry professionals. Selection is not guaranteed. If selected, there are no additional fees. Artists may choose to purchase print copies of the issue.
About the jurors
Deep Space Gallery is a hyperlocal gallery with an international footprint. Founded in 2016 and run by curators Jenna Geiger and Keith VanPelt, it hosts solo and group exhibitions year-round featuring ultra-contemporary, emerging, and mid-career artists, both self-taught and formally trained. Based in Jersey City's Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood, Deep Space has staged immersive installations at Spring/Break Art Fair and SuperFine Art Fair during Frieze New York, was one of 100 galleries invited to Artsy's inaugural FOUNDATIONS exhibition, and curated an installation at the European Cultural Centre's exhibition for the 60th Venice Biennale.
