New Now VIII
Since 1999, InLiquid has connected artists and audiences in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. In the eighth installment of our new member showcase, New Now VIII, 36 artists of diverse mediums, inspirations, and histories come together in the InLiquid Gallery. Though distinct, they are linked by the local community and a shared interest in the human experience.
In New Now VIII, these artists have a deep internal connection with thoughts and emotions that allows them to bring their work to life. As viewers move throughout this exhibition, they will encounter over 40 distinct works that attend to unique aspects on human interaction and self reflection. The artist's perception of the world influences their work from natural elements of trees, ecological systems, & human identity, to ethereal outerworld experiences that extend farther than human comprehension. With a constant flow of inspiration and never- ending beginnings, the artist invites the audience to immerse themselves in their world and take a look and explore their surreal iteration of the natural world.
Providing sanctuary for creative minds, each artist uses their given medium to dive into the many complexities of the world whether it is internal or external, providing the most raw, untamed form of human expression.
