Looking takes time
Looking Takes Time pairs six visual artists with six writers to produce a public exhibition at the Icebox Project Space in October-November 2027. Conceived by artist Didier William and InLiquid Founding Executive Director Rachel Zimmerman, and organized in collaboration with co-curators Brittany Webb, Ph.D., and Tayyib Smith, the project focuses on the rendering of the Black figure in contemporary image and object-making, and its intersections with geography, temporality, and intergenerationality. This exhibition will take place at the InLiquid Gallery and Icebox Project Space.
