More than 65 percent of local arts and culture organizations tell us that their most urgent need for financial assistance resulting from COVID-19 will occur between January and June 2021.
While no one argues with the City of Philadelphia’s desire to protect public health during the pandemic, the announcement of further COVID-19 restrictions through January 1, 2021 will have a devastating effect on museums, cultural attractions and more, which will now be closed during the critical holiday season.
This is the time to act — we need to tell City Council that Greater Philadelphia’s arts and culture community needs direct economic relief from government. Please email City Council Members using the link below:
