Throughout the month of April 2023 DVAA will be hosting, alongside our partners, the Everyday Futures Fest - a month-long series of community events and programming centralized in Philadelphia. This year, we will be exploring the topic of "Sustainability and Craft". In all programming our priority is on equity and inclusion, committed to innovating ways of creating STEAM programs that are accessible to all. Alongside our partnering organization, Moore College of Art and Design, DVAA will be hosting a film screening of 5-minute video’s responding to the them of “sustainability and craft”. The date of the Screening TBD, but will take place in the auditorium of Moore College (1916 Race St. Philadelphia, PA).
SCHEDULE: Submission Deadline: February 15th, midnight Artist Notified: February 23rd Film Screening Date: April 14th, 2023
RULES FOR ENTRY: Each artist is welcome to submit up to three videos. Each video must be 5 minutes or less in length. Videos longer than 5 minutes will not be considered. All submissions should explore the theme of sustainability and craft. We encourage participants to interpret the theme in creative ways! Please include a brief synopsis of your video in the submission form. Must be in mp4 format with a title screen at the beginning. If you do not supply a title screen your submission will be not be considered.
SUBMISSION FEE: $10 with all funds going towards the Everyday Futures Fest Submissions from students will be free. Email proof of enrollment (transcripts, school ID, etc.) to info@davinciartalliance.org for the code to waive the submission fee. If the fee is cost prohibitive, please email info@davinciartalliance.org.
