Brandi Hofer | AUTHOR, CURATOR, ARTIST

Brandi Hofer is an artist, muralist, author, podcaster and educator. Hofer is known for being a successful, collected Canadian Artist, exhibiting internationally and across North America, most recently in NYC.

Hofer is the founder of BHA Gallery, whose vision is to lift and empower and support emerging and established Womxn creative.

She has curated exhibitions featuring womxn artists from all over the globe and continues collaborating with organizations and galleries. In 2024 launched Like a Mother Art Prize and Exhibition in Europe for Artists in partnership with Art Connect Women. Hofer has just announced her largest project to date, a 3000 sq/ft mural to be installed July 2023, titled “Choose Love and Join Hands in Truth and Reconciliation”. In partnership with her community.

Founded an Art Academy partnering with her local public school district. Aiding in the creative learning in her community. Hofer will be taking her educational workshops internationally in 2025 to Belize.

Her artwork has been featured on national television and can be found in international publications and Saatchi Gallery. Some of her collectors include Jillian Harris, Sarah Baeumler, Andrew Salgado, Jann Arden, and Sarah Nicole Landry (thebbirdspapaya).

Application Details
The Arts To Hearts Project is excited to collaborate with selected artists to create our upcoming virtual exhibit released in August. Selected artists will not only have the chance to showcase their work in a virtual exhibition, but they will also have the opportunity to connect with other professional artists and art enthusiasts worldwide. Selected works will be listed for sale and retail on our ATH Gallery Shop and promoted to a vast audience through our social media channels, facilitating sales.

Selected pieces will be included in this upcoming virtual exhibition experience for 1 month. Your work will also be promoted to our platform’s broad international audience and collectors. A credit + link to your website, social media, and all necessary contact information will be listed and cited next to your selected piece(s) on our platform. Submitted artwork does not have to be for sale, but all accepted artwork can be purchased directly through our e-commerce portal on our Gallery website.

A gallery commission of 30% will be processed through the action of a sale. If your artwork is purchased and requires shipping, you will be connected to the buyer to work out all shipping details. To stay committed to our mission of accessibility, please keep submitted artwork under 5k (USD). All selected artists will be notified by email with further instructions on moving forward with your participation! All submissions allow for up to 10 pieces total, with a one-time submission rate starting at $25. Fees go toward creating more opportunities, supporting and uplifting our creative community.

Juror’s Choice Award
The juror will choose one outstanding artist and present them with the Juror’s choice Award. In addition to a cash prize amounting to $200 (USD), the recipient will also have the opportunity to be interviewed by ATH magazine and featured as the spotlight artist. This honor is reserved for someone who displays exceptional talent and creativity in their artwork.

Theme
Figure and Faces” Guest Curated by Brandi Hofer. For this exhibition, we are seeking artwork that explores the themes of figures and faces. While this theme may often be associated with human anatomy, we encourage artists to think outside the box and create works that highlight the beauty and complexity of figures and faces in all their forms, including animals, landscapes, and abstract expressions.

Eligible Artists
This open call is an exceptional opportunity for women artists to showcase their talents and creativity to a global audience. We welcome submissions from artists working in any medium, including but not limited to painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Women Artists of all academic disciples are welcome to apply. Works must be submitted High res images.
