JONATHAN FERRARA GALLERY is accepting artist submissions for the 27th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition. NO DEAD ARTISTS is a vetted exhibition known for a great diversity in media which showcases a cohesive cross-section of the pulse of Contemporary Art. The exhibition’s name is derived from the old adage that artists never achieve success until they are dead. NO DEAD ARTISTS turns that notion on its head and gives emerging artists their first break in the art world.
The exhibition has been a springboard for numerous artists leading to national press coverage and recognition, art fair presentations, gallery representation, and acquisitions by museums and other prominent collections. Each year the gallery invites a panel of renowned arts professionals and collectors to select the NO DEAD ARTISTS finalists.
Living artists worldwide, at any stage of their careers may apply. All media is accepted. There are no size restrictions apart from the constraints of the gallery walls (up to 19 ft) and ceiling height of 11.5 ft. Work must be available for sale during the exhibition dates.
Finalists will be featured in the group exhibition at JFG in September 2023 as the gallery kicks off the beginning of the arts season. One selected finalist will be awarded a solo exhibition in 2024.
