A Gathering of Goats
A ticketed event.
An immersive cocktail event featuring Claire Rosen’s anthropomorphic creative vision in collaboration with the herd from The Philly Goat Project, blending contemporary art and interactive installations to spotlight human - animal relationships in InLiquid’s Crane Arts space. Proceeds from A Gathering of Goats directly support Philly Goat Project’s innovative animal-assisted therapy, education, and community wellness programs, while also advancing InLiquid’s mission to connect artists and audiences through dynamic exhibitions and public programming that sustain the region’s contemporary art ecosystem.
On June 10, 2026, A Gathering of Goats: An Immersive Evening will transform the Icebox Gallery at the Crane Arts Building into a surreal, living work of art. Conceived by internationally-acclaimed artist Claire Rosen, the evening invites guests into a series of vignettes where the Philly Goat Project's herd of goats become collaborators, muses, and unexpected performance artists.
Throughout the evening, guests will move through interactive installations, including The Goat Feast—a pastoral tableau where goats enjoy an opulent, storybook banquet—and The Goat Art Studio, where goats “create” original works that will be available for purchase as part of the fundraiser.
Beneath the spectacle, A Gathering of Goats advances the mission of the Philly Goat Project, which provides education, wellness, community engagement, and therapeutic programming through human-animal connection. By placing these animals at the center of a high-design cultural event, the evening reframes goats not as novelty, but as partners in healing and meaningful social connection. The result is a fresh, socially conscious cocktail fundraiser: equal parts art happening, advocacy platform, and can’t-miss summer party.
This event benefits the Goat Project and InLiquid, the producer. InLiquid is a Philadelphia-based arts organization providing access to the Philadelphia region’s contemporary visual arts culture. In 2018, the organization opened its flagship InLiquid Gallery inside the Crane Arts Building in South Kensington, where it installs rotating exhibitions and hosts public events. In addition, InLiquid curates and mounts exhibitions for eight alternative art spaces at participating corporate and residential locations around Philadelphia.
