An immersive cocktail event featuring Claire Rosen’s anthropomorphic creative vision in collaboration with the herd from The Philly Goat Project, blending contemporary art and interactive installations to spotlight human - animal relationships in InLiquid’s Crane Arts space. Proceeds from A Gathering of Goats directly support Philly Goat Project’s innovative animal-assisted therapy, education, and community wellness programs, while also advancing InLiquid’s mission to connect artists and audiences through dynamic exhibitions and public programming that sustain the region’s contemporary art ecosystem.
On June 10, 2026, A Gathering of Goats: An Immersive Evening will transform the Icebox Gallery at the Crane Arts Building into a surreal, living work of art. Conceived by internationally-acclaimed artist Claire Rosen, the evening invites guests into a series of vignettes where the Philly Goat Project's herd of goats become collaborators, muses, and unexpected performance artists.
Throughout the evening, guests will move through interactive installations, including The Goat Feast—a pastoral tableau where goats enjoy an opulent, storybook banquet—and The Goat Art Studio, where goats “create” original works that will be available for purchase as part of the fundraiser. All the while, guests will sip “Caprini-tinis” and savor event-themed canapes conceived by culinary consultant Lynn Buono. A whimsical photo opportunity invites attendees to pose for an unforgettable portrait moment with one of the charming goats, capturing the playful elegance of the experience. Designed to spark conversation, connection, and shareable moments, A Gathering of Goats offers guests a one-night-only experience at the intersection of contemporary art, philanthropy, and viral cultural storytelling.
Beneath the spectacle, A Gathering of Goats advances the mission of the Philly Goat Project, which provides education, wellness, community engagement, and therapeutic programming through human-animal connection. By placing these animals at the center of a high-design cultural event, the evening reframes goats not as novelty, but as partners in healing and meaningful social connection. The result is a fresh, socially conscious cocktail fundraiser: equal parts art happening, advocacy platform, and can’t-miss summer party.
This event benefits the Goat Project and InLiquid, the producer. InLiquid is a Philadelphia-based arts organization providing access to the Philadelphia region’s contemporary visual arts culture. In 2018, the organization opened its flagship InLiquid Gallery inside the Crane Arts Building in South Kensington, where it installs rotating exhibitions and hosts public events. In addition, InLiquid curates and mounts exhibitions for eight alternative art spaces at participating corporate and residential locations around Philadelphia.

Claire Rosen is an award-winning artist known for her imaginative photography — featuring a whimsical exploration of the intersection of art, history, and nature. Her hallmark images include charming animals presented in fantastical anthropomorphized settings. Her still life work reimagines lush flora and food within a classical vanitas tradition. Her visual style was shaped by the early influences of Beatrix Potter, natural history museums, and the Dutch still life tradition, with her intricate compositions blending the enchantment of children’s illustrations and the refinement of classical painting. Her work utilizes these visual traditions to spark conversation around contemporary themes.
Early in her career, she was twice named to Forbes’ “Best 30 under 30” list for Art & Design. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The Guardian, National Geographic, Smithsonian Magazine, and The Washington Post. Claire’s artwork has been exhibited widely, in both solo and group shows, from New York to Seoul. Her first monograph, Birds of a Feather, was named on Smithsonian’s Top 10 Photo Books of 2025. As a brand ambassador for FujiFilm USA, she continues to influence and educate within the photography community.
Claire is the Creative Director of Warwick Furnace Farm in rural Chester County, PA, a historic property transformed into a picturesque lavender farm — which provides a setting for Claire’s artist studio, an art gallery, and a growing guest artist residency program — reflecting her continuing commitment to community engagement through the creative arts.

The exhibit and installations will feature work from Claire’s ongoing series working with live animals in anthropomorphized settings to encourage viewers to consider those in the animal kingdom more humanely, affording them more rights and status. Placing animals in a setting typically reserved for humans raises the question of whether we may have more in common than we admit. Claire’s imagery invites viewers to reflect on the nature of society, our relationship, and responsibility to the creatures we share the planet with.
