The world of abstract can take many forms and this show seeks to encompass a range of artistic styles and mediums to celebrate the wide breadth of intentions and expressions.

These are artists who have declared their independence from portraying reality in favor of creating abstract art that focuses the emphasis on the essential elements of line, shape, color, form, and gestural marks. Their aims are to achieve unique visual expressions of intensity and rhythmic effects.

This is a language that can be bold or lyrical, structured or loose, brightly colored or quietly muted, cryptic or dazzling; the beauty is that it is often whatever you want it to be, and that may vary from creator and to each individual viewer.

When engaging with such works viewers are encouraged to contemplate the meaning, ask the thought-provoking questions, as well as employ their imagination to achieve an extraordinary understanding of such art.
