Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow is an open-call exhibition celebrating the artists and communities shaping Philadelphia’s alternative art scene. Presented by Muse Gallery with the Collective Futures Festival, it features artists connected to collectives, cooperatives, DIY spaces, and artist-run organizations. Their work reflects shared histories, present connections, and future possibilities.

JACQUELINE UNANUE work:

Newspaper, 20”x20”, 2026, acrylic on canvas, hand stamp, and manual airbrush blown paint

"Through this work I pay tribute to Native Americans, the original inhabitants of this land currently called the United States of America.

My piece is inspired by some areas of an ancient rock  –now historic monument- in Utah, covered in Native American carvings rock, named Newspaper Rock dated back about 2,000 years as a form of communication."
