The Weight of Time Opening Reception
Morton Contemporary invites you to experience the work of Keith Andrews and six other inspiring painters incarcerated at SCI Phoenix Prison in Pennsylvania. Each artist has a special story to tell about growing up behind bars, their work evoking what time – or the loss of time – has come to mean to them.
The opening reception of The Weight of Time will be held at Morton Contemporary Gallery on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 6:00pm–8:00 pm.
A portion of the profits from this show will benefit Mural Arts Philadelphia in support of their restorative justice work advancing artistic equity and opportunity within the criminal justice system of Pennsylvania.
