InLiquid and Stanek Gallery present Reinterpreting Landscape and Nature, a group exhibition of InLiquid Artist Members, curated by Barbara Harberger.
“This group of artists share a sensibility through which they approach their work that links them in a unique way.
Though the methods and intent of these artists vary, there is a common link through their nonrepresentational response to landscape and forms that take their clues from the natural world. The works in the exhibition, each involving varied materials, find an order through establishing connections between these abstracted elements inspired by a common source.” – Barbara Harberger
In partnership with Stanek Gallery, InLiquid is pleased to invite Barbara Harberger to curate work by InLiquid Artist Members for Stanek’s unique gallery space. Barbara Harberger has been working as an Art Advisor since 2004. She has had the opportunity to curate numerous art collections for private residences, corporations, restaurants, and hotels throughout the United States as well as in London, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean.
This partnership is part of an initiative by Stanek to nurture relationships with other organizations deeply ingrained in the unique arts culture of Philadelphia, fostering a more connected cultural community.
Located in the heart of Olde City, Stanek Gallery gives way to new thought for art connoisseurs, brilliantly bridging the gap between artists and art collectors and creating an engaging forum where art can be seen, shared and discussed. Founded by Katherine Stanek and Deborah Fine, both of whom are working artists of national and international acclaim, their goal is to reinvent the gallery experience and become a preeminent force in Philadelphia’s art landscape.
