Exhibits & Events

Mondays, September 14 - November 30, 2026 (10 sessions)

Students will have a unique experience by learning two art mediums with two different artist instructors.

Gelli Printmaking and painted papers with Nancy

With Nancy, you will learn how to make a treasure trove of collage papers and how to create works of art that are entirely your own.  We will do this primarily in two ways: by mixing paint to create unique colors across a range of values, and by making our own patterns inspired by the world around us.  The second way we will make painted papers is by using a gelatin printing plate.  We will create dynamic prints using acrylic paints and everyday household items to create rich textures.  Your painted and printed papers will make beautiful collage materials and/or dynamic backgrounds to be used in Dolores’ class.  Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned artist, this class will spark your creativity in new ways!

The supply list is a suggestion of student-grade items.  If you’re on a budget or do not want to invest in  the gelatin printing plate and brayer, Nancy will have some to use while in class.
