Kids Making Collage: Workshop
Join Tim McFarlane this Saturday, September 5th, from 10 am to 12pm, at Bridgette Mayer Gallery for a family collage workshop!
This weekend, the Philadelphia-based artist will share with kids and parents what collage is and how to use materials in their homes to create outstanding artistic pieces.
We will provide boxes of fun collage materials for kids to design their own creations, including canvas board, glue, markers, fabric, and paper. By engaging with his collages, McFarlane will also share exclusive aspects of his creative process with the group.
Each participant will conclude the workshop with 2 (two) finished collages or works on paper to bring back home along with the unforgettable experience to learn first-hand collage techniques with one of the most incredible contemporary artists in the United States in a professional gallery setting.
Parents: The gallery will offer mimosas and donuts to you to enjoy while you listen, learn, and watch!

Open to parents and their kids, ages from 4 to 10 yeards old;
