“Art Under the Stars” Returns for Its Fourth Annual Celebration of Living Artists. In a world where artists are often celebrated only after they’re gone, Art Under the Stars honors them now. This annual show returns on Saturday, August 22, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the lush Sculpture Courtyard for an evening celebrating living artists, creativity, and life together under a glowing night sky.

Founded by Visual Artist and Event Curator Jona Shreeves-Taylor (@J.Taylor), this celebration was created from the belief that “artists deserve to receive their flowers while they’re alive to smell them,” a sentiment reflected in the abundance of floral arrangements that adorn the space each year. The annual event brings people together to experience art and support artists in an inviting, open-air setting.

Guests can explore and collect original artwork and merch by 20+ visual artists, watch live painting, thrift shop, and enjoy sounds curated by Brotha Taaj and DJ YNGFU, accompanied by a live jazz band throughout the evening.

The experience also features soul food from Mr. D’s Homestyle Cooking, sweet treats from Cloud Cups Gelato, and a cash bar serving some delicious budget-friendly cocktails and drinks all night.

More than an art show, Art Under the Stars has become an anticipated space to for artists, art lovers, and the community to connect, dance, and celebrate living artists, creativity, and life while we’re here to experience it together.
