25 Decades
From the prospectus: "In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, the Community Arts Center will host a group exhibition entitled 25 Decades. We are seeking 25 Artists to participate. Each artist will be each assigned a 10 year period between 1776 to 2026. (1776-1785, 1786-1795 . . . ). Each participating artist will be asked to create 2 - 3 pieces of new work related to events, inventions, people, etc. that happened in the United States in that 10 year period."
Opening Reception: Thursday, July 2, 6-8 PM
