Please join us for Yoga in the Glen taught by Deanna Mclaughlin on October 17th, 2021 at 11AM. This unique hour-long outdoor class will take place on the grounds of Sculpture in the Glen, a unique pop-up sculpture garden in Gladwyne. While surrounded by art, instructor Deanna Mclaughlin will lead students through a series of Tao Yin Yoga and Iron Shirt Chi Gong to help open their bodies, clear energetic blockages, and develop deep core strength.
A combination of guided breath work and visualizations are integrated throughout the class while individuals are in a combination of standing, sitting and floor based postures. Each pose concentrates on promoting circulation through the joints, while strengthening the tendons and deep muscles. The structure and emphasis of the class will be developed based on the individuals present.
Proceeds from the class directly go to support InLiquid, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting artists from the regions, and bringing programming, such as Sculpture in the Glen, to the public.
All levels welcome!
