Philadelphia-based painter and mixed media artist Jim Brossy presents his latest piece, Wee Wheel, at 3rd Street Gallery throughout March 2025.

Known for his emotionally charged works that blend oil, enamel, steel, and mixed media, Brossy’s new work delves into the world of nostalgia, allowing viewers to reconnect with their past through art that reflects childhood memories.

Jim Brossy holds an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and is associated with the personal manifesto called “Crackpot Realism”. Brossy’s life size art incorporates unconventional materials to create textured, layered pieces that critique societal issues and challenge traditional boundaries between the art and viewer.
