InLiquid and Schwarz Gallery are proud to present Traditional Meets Contemporary, a collaborative exhibition celebrating their 20th and 90th anniversaries, respectively.
This collection in Schwarz Gallery’s newly renovated space combines works by contemporary Philadelphia artists and nineteenth century American artists. Merging contemporary with traditional makes evident the similarities between and evolutions in American art. The connections between the pieces demonstrates how artwork of differing areas can form meaningful relationships, both visual and emotional.
