Emotions in Color

You are warmly invited to join us in my studio for a healing afternoon blending mindfulness, self-expression, and slow fashion.

My daughter, fashion designer Sarah Tremain, myself, and Lauren Holland — intuitive + healing catalyst at Makaristic.com — are co-hosing this workshop. It begins with a guided meditation to help you tune in, name, and translate the emotions you’re carrying into a personal symbol. From there, you’ll bring that symbol to life by painting it directly onto a garment or fabric panel using fabric paints or the traditional art of Batik — applying melted beeswax to protect parts of your design before dyeing. The result: a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable or displayable art that holds your story. By giving your feelings shape and color you create something beautiful that you can carry forward.

All materials provided. The cost is sliding scale from $55–85. No painting or sewing experience needed—just curiosity, presence, and something you’d love to make your own. I hope you can join us!
