Curator's statement:
"One of my favorite exhibitions to put together is the Annual New Talent Show because a most important and gratifying activity of mine is finding new artists for the gallery. Anticipating the format of this show each year focuses the talent search. As much as I love organizing this show, I don't like the title as I suspect 'New Talent' can be misleading. The 'talent' is certainly not new, only new to my gallery. The accomplishments of the participating artists reflect the general make-up of the gallery as a whole; a few recent students along with mid-career and highly developed artists.

"Perhaps I should title the show. 'Gallery Debut', 'Coming Attractions', or 'Preja Vue' (a new word for things you have never seen before but have the haunting feeling you will see again.) Whatever the name, this exhibition displays an usually diverse and lively group of artists in many media, each pursuing their own personal vision. Don?t miss this year's selection of newcomers. Dealer's Choice."
